A paper version of this newsletter has been sent home with your student today (Thursday) with a self assessment portion. Parents, please sign and return it. Include any comments. I send these home periodically through the year.

Planner news= Students will record the study link and any important info in the planner. I encourage them to use it as a tool that will help them. I have started by having them write one thing that went well each day. It is a good conversation starter for you at home.
Homework will be a nightly study link in math. Please encourage them to read at home, make it as fun as possible.

Unit 1 math test is Thursday, Sept 18!

Webgrader = I will post assignments soon. Most subjects have an in class grade and an assessment grade which factors into the overall grade. Parent letters are coming home this week with passwords. You can also look up your student's password by clicking this link on the HPS site under the Parents tab. Click on Webgrader - obtain Webgrader log-in information for your student.
Also, we are holding a parent technology night October 7th from 6-8 if you are interested in learning more about Webgrader, Study Island, and other resources.
